Heidi Saarinen (sister suitcase) is a designer, academic and hybrid dance artist interested in space/place and human interaction with architecture and spatial environments. Heidi has recently completed research on Spatial Choreographies investigating ‘the peripheral place/in-between’ and the interaction/collision between spaces, city and the body. Heidi is currently working on a series of solo and interdisciplinary projects linking film, choreography, wearable technology, architecture, community activism, memory and the urban everyday.
